PT. PURADIKA TRANSNUSA UTAMA was established in 1996 by its founders to anticipate the growth of shipping industry in Indonesia.

It was started when the needs of agent who represented tugs & barges owners to protect their interests in contract of affreightment of sand from Tg. Balai Karimun (near Batam) to Singapore. It was the first branch office of PT Puradika Transnusa Utama established.

Since then PT Puradika Transnusa Utama growing rapidly expanding their business focuses in AGENCY and SHIPBROKING, then recently CREWING. To cope with the growth, management decided to open branches at Cilegon, Tanjung Balai Karimun, Batam and Tual. Here we cater the agency for mostly import vessels range from bulk sugar, steel scraps and lately iron ore pellets from Brazil, Chile, Narvik and Bahrain. The vessels handled ranging from small up to capesize. The 4th branch office is Tual near Papua where we handle our own fishing vessels, including reefer vessels for our Thailand owners.

Puradika is a member of The Baltic and International Maritime Council or BIMCO the world's largest and most diverse private shipping organization with membership spans 123 countries and includes more than 2,550 companies such as Ship Owners, Ship Brokers, Ship Agent, P&I Club based in Denmark.  Puradika was the co-partner for BIMCO Courses in Indonesia in March 2002. In response to highes standard of quality services, Puradika has recently obtained the ISO 9001-2000 certificate from Worldwide Quality Assurance Ltd.(UK). Puradika is also a member of ISAA (Indonesian Shipping Agency Association), ISBA (Indonesian Shipbrokers Association) and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce.
